Musical interlude with "Mayvie"

“Mayvie” alias Nadine Nigg was already composing her first songs in her head at the age of four. The Liechtenstein artiste knew what she would do one day: become a musician and perform her own songs on stage. Like her idols of that time, the Beatles and Elvis, she eventually found her place in folk-pop and released her debut album of her own songs "Step By Step" in 2011 using the stage name of "Mayvie" (from the English month of May and the French word for life - “vie”).

Each song shows Mayvie’s great versatility in composing and lyric-writing. Her path to becoming a singer-songwriter and film music composer was, like her life, as rocky as it was extraordinary and beautiful. Thanks to her curiosity and hunger for new discoveries, she manages to create something new and unique time and time again. The resulting music in her enthralling indie-pop songs is a mix of blues, rock, jazz, folk and electropop.

With "soulful voices and rock-vibes" Mayvie has started work on her 4th album "Black Box". We are looking forward to the first single out of that box in spring 2024. The multi-instrumentalist has used all her emotions to compose her new songs, showcasing her inspirational talent.
